Entry Fee: Works done at a school are already covered. Students not currently enrolled at a local school, are still required to pay $1 to enter works into the show.
Entries Close: ALL entries are to be submitted by Friday the 10th of May at 4pm and are to be delivered to the show office at the showgrounds. This includes students not enrolled at a school.
Conditions of Entry:
• Open to all children attending school or being taught privately within the Narrabri Shire and Children attending boarding School who live within the Narrabri Shire.
• The work must not have been exhibited at a previous Wee Waa Show and must been done in the last 12 months.
• Name of Student, School and Class number on the BACK of ALL exhibits or else they will not be judged.
• Each individual may have only One Entry in each Category.
• Due to lack of space:
(a) Art Work is limited to A3 size paper or smaller.
(b) Art Work is not to be framed with glass or a wooden frame.
• Whilst every care is taken, the Society will not be responsible for any mishap to exhibits.
• Only 5 items of the same artwork may be submitted per class.All school work must be picked up by a school representative at 12pm on Sunday afternoon, the third day of the show. One representative from each school will be required to assist in the dismantling and collection of each school’s entries.
Pre-School/Playgroup Art and Craft
1. Art: Any Medium – no larger than A3.
2. Article of craft.
Primary School Section Written Expression
Written expression is to be done on one A4 size paper, left unmounted, typed with no illustrations unless stipulated. All work needs to be published ensuring presentation and quality of work produced. Relating to a Text Type you have focused on. No bigger than A4 size paper for one piece of work. 3. Year 6.
